ITHACA, N.Y. — An Ithaca man has been charged with felony burglary after police say he entered a residence on Elmira Road and threatened an occupant with knives.

According to New York State Police, Scott W. Linderberry, 49, of Ithaca, entered a residence on Elmira Road at about 7 p.m. Thursday. Police say Linderberry entered the home without permission and “menaced an occupant with knives then threw items causing damage inside.”

Linderberry was charged with second-degree burglary.

Linderberry was arraigned in the Town of Ithaca Court and remanded to Tompkins County Jail on $7,500 cash bail or $15,000 property bond. He is due to reappear in court Aug. 1.
