ITHACA, N.Y. — Construction on East State Street between Mitchell and Bridge streets is complete and the detour will be removed Wednesday.
The City of Ithaca has announced that gas main replacement work on the 900-1010 block of East State Street has wrapped up.

However, the water and sewer project on the lower portion of East State Street, from about the “tuning fork” to Stewart Avenue, is still active and will continue through October.
