UPDATE (April 15, 2019) — Latoia Harris pleaded guilty to one count of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, a class B felony, in Tompkins County Court on April 15, 2019.
Harris signed a diversion contract to participate in drug treatment court. If she complies with the terms of drug treatment court and graduates in spring of 2020, she will be able to revoke her felony guilty plea and plea to a misdemeanor charge. If she does not comply with the terms of participation, she will be sentenced for the felony charge.
Harris will be supervised on interim probation until she completes drug treatment court.
ENFIELD, N.Y. — A multi-agency narcotics investigation resulted in three arrests Friday in Enfield.
Early Friday morning, the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team, the NYSP Special Operations Response Team, the Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office, the Ithaca Police Department and NYSP Uniform and K-9 units executed search warrants on a residence on Enfield Main Road.
Cocaine and marijuana was seized as a result of the search, according to Trooper Aga Dembinska, public information officer for NYSP Troop C. State police did not release on the amount seized.
Latoia Harris, 37, of Enfield, was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, a felony, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia. Harris was arraigned in the Town of Newfield Court and released on bail/bond.
Tieana Harris, 18, of Enfield, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and was released to appear in court at a later date.
Christopher Clarke, 30, of Enfield, was arrested for outstanding bench warrants for resisting arrest and harassment from the Ithaca Police Department. Clarke was turned over to the IPD.
