ITHACA, N.Y. — The 100 block of College Avenue will be closed from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday for standpipe testing by the Ithaca Fire Department. Expect delays and seek alternate routes if possible.
Flaggers will be standing by to direct traffic. TCAT buses will detour routes to Stewart Avenue during the testing period.
The City of Ithaca recommends the following detours:
- Southbound traffic on College will be detoured to Bool Street to Linden Avenue to Mitchell Street.
- Westbound traffic on Mitchell Street will not enter College Avenue and instead will be detoured to Eddy Street to Dryden Road to College Avenue.
- Eastbound traffic on Mitchell Street will not enter College Avenue and instead will be detoured to Delaware Avenue to Dryden Road to College Avenue.
