ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca Police Department will host the Second Annual Veterans Day 5K fun run on Sunday Nov. 11 to benefit Team Red, White & Blue, an organization that works to connect veterans to their communities through physical and social activity.
The 5K route starts and ends at DeWitt Park. Runners and walkers will set out at 10 a.m. and are encouraged to wear red, white and blue.
The Veteran’s Day Ceremony will take place in the park immediately after the fun run at 11 a.m.
The 5K is free for runners and walkers. Donations to Team RWB can be made online or at the event.
