The Ithaca College Gerontology Institute’s Finger Lakes Geriatric Education Center will host a screening of the one-hour film “Resilience: The Biology of Stress & the Science of Hope” followed by a moderated panel discussion on the impact of trauma and trauma-informed care.

This event will be held 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31 at Cinemapolis. It is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. More info and link to RSVP here.

“Resilience” chronicles the birth of a new movement among pediatricians, therapists, educators and communities, who are using cutting-edge brain science to disrupt cycles of violence, addiction and disease. Topics such as adverse childhood experiences will be addressed.

The panel of experts includes:
