ITHACA, N.Y. – Ithaca police arrested a 15-year-old Ithaca resident on charges related to sexual assault Monday, police say.

The teen faces charges of first-degree sexual abuse, a class-D felony, and forcible touching, a class-A misdemeanor in relation to an incident that occurred in February in the City of Ithaca, according to a news release from the Ithaca Police Department.

Police issued a juvenile appearance ticket returnable to the Tompkins County Probation. The name of the subject cannot be released due to their age.
