UPDATE (12:45 p.m.) – NYSEG reports power is restored to all customers in Tompkins County.

ITHACA, N.Y. – About 2,800 NYSEG customers in the City and Town of Ithaca and in southwest Dryden are without power as of 11 a.m. Monday, March 25.

Downtown businesses along the Commons as well as Aurora, Cayuga, Green, Seneca and Tioga streets are among the affected addresses.

Traffic signals at several intersections are not functioning. Drivers should treat all affected intersections as all-way stops.

NYSEG is currently working on repairs but has not confirmed when power will be restored. The company’s online outage list currently estimates work will be complete by 12:45 p.m and will be updated throughout the day.
