ITHACA, N.Y. – The Finger Lakes GrassRoots Festival will return to Trumansburg for its 29th year this July, with a packed lineup of dozens of bands.

The festival, which will take place July 18 to 21, will feature four stages of music along with camping, yoga, dance, workshops and healing arts.

In a press release announcing the year’s acts, organizers said the festival “is designed to dazzle you with diversity rather than wow you with big names.”

“We are excited to announce our 2019 Finger Lakes GrassRoots Festival of Music & Dance Lineup, which includes the Grammy-winning island-infused-blues stylings of Taj Mahal Quartet, the improvisational Americana, country, bluegrass and rock & roll of Railroad Earth, the harmonious-soulful-folk of activists and songstresses Rising Appalachia, the traditionally-rooted folk of ramblin’ man and storyteller Willie Watson, and the cajun-flavored-country-folk-rock of Donna the Buffalo!” the press release reads.

In addition to music, the festival will offer plenty of entertainment options, including camping, food and craft vendors, kids’ activities, yoga, healing arts, visual art exhibits, and workshops.
