ITHACA, N.Y. — Voters across Tompkins County took to the polls Tuesday for school budget and school board elections.
Budgets were approved in all of the county’s districts. Statewide, about 98% of district budgets passed, according to the New York State School Boards Association.
Ithaca City School District tallies for board of education candidates were certified at about 8 p.m. Wednesday. Write-in candidate Erin Croyle will replace incumbent Bradley Grainger on the board, winning the seat by a margin of 63 votes.

It would also allow the district to purchase eight buses.
