ITHACA, N.Y. — The Friday screening of “Captain Marvel” as part of the Movies in the Park series will be moved indoors to the State Theatre due to the rain.
Organized by the Tompkins County Chamber of Commerce since 2014, the free movie series takes place every Friday in August at Stewart Park. In the event of rain, such as this Friday, Aug. 16, the movies are screened at the State Theatre at 107 W. State St., Ithaca.
The doors will open at 7 p.m. and the movie will start at 8 p.m. Damiani Wine Cellars and Ithaca To Go will be there.

According to the National Weather Service in Binghamton, there is a chance of heavy rain and thunderstorms Friday evening.
