ITHACA, N.Y. — A man wanted in connection with a murder in Georgia was arrested Tuesday in Ithaca, according to police.

Adrian Dove, 48, was wanted by the Savannah Police Department, according to the U.S. Marshals Service, in connection with a murder in which a person was shot.

Dove was a truck driver and had traveled to the Syracuse area, according to the U.S. Marshals Service. He was located in Ithaca, and the U.S. Marshals New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force, Ithaca Police Department, New York State Police, Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office and Cayuga Heights Police Department assisted with the arrest.

He was taken into custody without incident, police said.

Dove was arraigned in Ithaca City Court as a fugitive from justice and is awaiting further extradition proceedings.
