Following his arrest earlier this year, Hamilton admitted that in December 2017 he had sex with a 14-year-old girl. Hamilton was 27 at the time of the rape.

The court recommended that Hamilton face 10 years probation, and be added to the sex-offender registry. He must also go through sex offender treatment, sex offender compliance court and is not allowed to come in contact with children under the age of 18.

Hamilton is due back in court on Dec. 20 at 1:30 p.m. for sentencing.

Correction: A previous version of this article incorrectly stated that Chad Hamilton admitted his guilt in December 2017.
