ITHACA, N.Y. — The Ithaca Police Department is investigating gunshots on Monday night that struck a house.

Officers responded to the 200 block of West Spencer Street for reports of gunshots at approximately 11:54 p.m., according to a press release from IPD.

Shell casings were located and officers found that a nearby house had been hit six times. Interviews were conducted and several witnesses told police they had heard multiple gunshots.

One witness told police that they heard shots and saw a small vehicle fleeing the area going southwest on West Spencer Street.

No victims have been located and no suspect has been identified.
