ITHACA, N.Y. — Tompkins County announced on Friday morning that they had been informed of an employee at the Ithaca-Tompkins Regional Airport testing positive for coronavirus.
In a release Friday morning, the county said the individual has been in isolation since sampling was done on March 22. The individual was employed by a private employer operating at the airport.
TCHD nurses have completed a contact investigation and have contacted anyone that may have been exposed to the individual and informed of what they should do next regarding self-isolation or testing.
