ITHACA, N.Y. — The total number of positive COVID-19 cases in Tompkins County has climbed to 15, new numbers from the Tompkins County Health Department show.

Only two more test results were reported back to TCHD between Saturday and Sunday, while the number of people released from quarantine was up 29, to 235. The number of people in quarantine is down from Saturday from 418 to 397.

Cornell University and the Ithaca City School District were informed of their community’s first positive tests Friday by TCHD and contact investigations are ongoing.
