ITHACA, N.Y. — The Ithaca Police Department responded to a call of shots fired late Monday evening that resulted in one person suffering non-life threatening injuries.
At approximately 10:56 PM, Monday night, officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 600 Block of West State Street. Upon arrival, they found a person with a single gunshot wound in the Bangs Ambulance parking lot.
The Ithaca Police Crime Scene Unit and the Criminal Investigations Division processed the scene to collect and document evidence, including a single spent shell casing nearby, as well as other evidence in an involved motor vehicle, IPD said in a press release.
At this time this investigation is ongoing.
