UPDATE, APRIL 14 –– Two people have been charged in relation to a shots fired incident last month near Shortstop Deli.
Rashid R. Mack, 21, and an adolescent offender who will not be named have both been charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree, according to a press release Tuesday from IPD.
Ithaca Police responded to reports of shots fired on the 200 block of N. Albany Street on March 8 around 7 p.m. — finding evidence of a weapon being discharged.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, both subjects will appear before the courts at a later date.

ITHACA, N.Y. –– Ithaca Police responded to reports of shots fired on the 200 block of N. Albany Street near Shortstop Deli Sunday night.
At approximately 7:00 p.m., Sunday, the Ithaca Police Department responded to the scene and officers were able to confirm that multiple rounds were fired from a gun at the location.
According to the IPD, no victims have been located.
At this time the investigation is ongoing.
