ITHACA, N.Y. — Ithaca Police are investigating a stabbing on State Street Monday that left one person with non-life threatening injuries.

At 5:11 p.m, Ithaca Police officers responded to the area of 138 West State Street, near the corner of West State and Geneva Streets, for a report of an assault.

Upon arrival, officers located a victim who reported being stabbed. A release from IPD says that the victim had non-life threatening injuries consistent with the information they were providing and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. An investigation is ongoing.
