ITHACA, N.Y. — Commuters should be aware of two construction projects that may affect commuters and cause traffic in the City of Ithaca this week.

Starting Tuesday, Oct. 13, crews will be working to repair a water main leak and restore asphalt in the 300 block of Elmira Road. The work will close knock the road down to a single lane in the area of Arby’s.

The project is scheduled to be completed by the end of the day Friday, Oct. 16.

A second project on Fulton Street, also to repair a leak in a main and restore asphalt in the area of Agway.

This second project is also slated to begin on Tuesday, Oct. 13 and should be completed by Friday, Oct. 16 and will see traffic in the area reduced to one lane.
