TOMPKINS COUNTY, N.Y. –– Just before 10 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 3, early voting results have been returned from the Tompkins County Board of Elections. We’ll keep this page updated as results become available.

It’s important to note that the races for the NY-23 Congressional District, the 58th NY State Senate seat, the NY State 125th District and the NYS Supreme Court 6th Judicial District all involve significant amount of votes from different counties other than Tompkins County.

We will add in those numbers when they become available, but initially we will have the Tompkins County votes listed separately from the total votes. Factoring in these counties will likely make it more difficult to determine any winners tonight, as New York State election laws mean that absentee and mail-in ballot counts wont start to be counted until Nov. 10. Even just in Tompkins County, there are over 11,000 absentee ballots that need to be counted.

Our vote totals will be updated throughout the night and over the next several days as more figures are released. Tompkins County totals and percentages are listed to the left of the separator, while the overall, statewide ballots are listed on the right for the races of President of the United States, State Supreme Court, New York 23rd Congressional District, State Senate races and the 125th District State Assembly race.
