ITHACA, N.Y.—The 300 block of West State Street will be reduced to one lane on Monday, Dec. 7, in order to provide room for construction of a new water service. The construction is scheduled to end by 3:30 on Dec. 8.
The City of Ithaca is not expecting a disruption of water service, and said that no detours are being planned currently.
“The 300 Block of West State Street will be reduced to one lane between Plain Street and Albany Street,” the city stated in the release. “Traffic will be directed around the work zone by flaggers. Several parking spaces will be marked “No Parking” to allow room for construction equipment.”
