ITHACA, N.Y.—The City of Ithaca announced Wednesday that odd/even parking is in effect for the night of Wednesday, Dec. 16 at least. It will be announced when odd/even is no longer in effect.
The policy is in place so that plow trucks can more easily navigate the streets of the city around parked cars. Here’s a primer from last year about what odd/even parking means.
Driving conditions as of 7 p.m. were very treacherous, although there had not been a stay at home order issued by Mayor Svante Myrick, which he has done in the past in reaction to snowstorms with significant accumulation.
As of Weds 12/16/20 Odd/ Even Parking is in effect in the City. Please see our website for more information on Odd/ Even parking: https://t.co/cOiVWoi6Yg
