ITHACA, N.Y.—The Ithaca Police Department is investigating a shooting incident that happened over the weekend in which no one was injured but a house was hit several times.

According to a police press release, IPD responded to several shots fired reports on Friday, Jan. 29 around 11:45 p.m. at the 500 block of Spencer Road. Witnesses were interviewed, and police found that they had heard two sets of gunshots about 10 minutes apart, though reports were not made until the second set of shots.

Witnesses did not provide information regarding suspects. Police found several spent shell casings in the road, and found that a house had been struck by numerous bullets. There were no victims inside the house.
