ITHACA, N.Y. –– Crews working to fill in a sinkhole on South Geneva Street between Wood Street and South Titus Ave will interrupt traffic for almost the entire week.

The project, which started today, involves replacing damaged asphalt in the area –– a task which will take until at least Thursday.

As a result, the 100 and 200 blocks South Titus Ave, 400 block South Geneva Street, and the 100 block of Wood Street will be closed to thru traffic for the duration of the project.

Parking will also be limited at the intersections of South Titus Ave and South Geneva Street.
