TOMPKINS COUNTY, N.Y.—Tompkins County is seeking a consultant to manage and administer a $7M Community Recovery Grant Program.

The program is meant to support the economic recovery of Tompkins County from the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. It was established in September by the Tompkins County Legislature, and is drawing funds from the county government’s unassigned fund balance. It will utilize local agencies to help identify where need exists, but guidelines and application details have not yet been developed for the grant program.

The county is seeking a “Recovery Grant Consultant” to help plan, oversee, and administer the grant program. Once the consultant is selected and the program designed, the county said more details will be shared widely.

The county is accepting bids until Nov. 22, and the Request for Proposals can be found through the Tompkins County website.
