GROTON, N.Y.—A woman in Groton has been charged with two felonies after being accused of stealing money from a company in Cortland.

Jeanne Parr, 53, was arrested and charged with first-degree grand larceny and first degree falsifying business records, both of which are felonies. New York State Police said the arrest was made after a year-long investigation.

According to police, Parr was allegedly stealing company funds from JD Ferro Roofing in Cortland for “several years.” The owner discovered the theft over a year ago and initiated an investigation with police. Parr then allegedly falsified business records to hide the theft.

Parr was arrested Monday and was awaiting arraignment at last update.
