ITHACA, N.Y. — The Ithaca Police Department (IPD) responded to Spencer Road last night on a call of multiple shots fired.

Police released that they arrived on the scene along the road’s 600 block around 12:05 AM on Monday, where they found bullet casings on the road and visible marks on a home that had been hit by gunfire. One round was found to have penetrated through the house. There are no reported injuries.

The suspects are described by IPD as two males who were associated with a dark colored sedan that was witnessed leaving the area. The two men were described as wearing dark clothes.

Police responded to the 600 block of Spencer Road for numerous reports of shots fired throughout 2021, as well as multiple cases of firearms being found abandoned along the road.
