ITHACA, N.Y.—Slope Day 2022 signaled a return to the largest that the event has been since 2019, as the COVID-19 pandemic had largely canceled the festivities for the last two years.

But Wednesday, hundreds of students were greeted with performances from Aminé, Loud Luxury and Luna Li at the end-of-semester celebration. Crowds were smaller than normal years, possibly because of the ongoing public health situation, but a significant crowd still stretched far in front of the stage.

A brief listen to the local scanner showed that Cornell Health and various other healthcare providers also had their hands full yesterday, so before the gallery of vivid scenes from the day: a quick “thank you” to those workers.
