TOMPKINS COUNTY, N.Y.—Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the Shops at Ithaca Mall at approximately 2:30 p.m. on July 27 to investigate a motor vehicle theft.

Deputies on the scene were informed that the vehicle had been stolen from the Village of Cayuga Heights and was being operated in the mall area within the Village of Lansing.

Deputies located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop in the Cayuga Blu Hotel parking lot, finding the four occupants of the vehicle to be 24-year-old Massia White-Saunders, 18-year-old Bridget Shaver and two 16-year-old juveniles.

All four individuals were charged with criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree, and Shaver and the juveniles were released on appearance tickets. White-Saunders was sent to Centralized Arraignment before being released on his own recognizance.
