ITHACA, N.Y.—The Town of Ithaca has recently rolled out a new transaction portal that residents can use to initiate, track and complete various types of requests from departments including the zoning and public works, planning and engineering departments and the Town Clerk.
OpenGov, which went live July 18, 2022, provides a user-friendly layout where each department’s services can be listed, plus information on projects and legislation.
The new portal will allow applicants more flexibility and not confine them to the business hours of each department. The portal will also allow town employees to interact with each application online more efficiently.
