TOMPKINS COUNTY, N.Y.—Early voting begins October 29 for residents in New York State and Tompkins County who wish to cast their ballots ahead of Election Day, which is Nov. 8, 2022.
On this year’s ballot are candidates for New York State governor and Lieutenant governor, state comptroller, attorney general, U.S. Senator, Congressional Representative for the 19th District, State Senator for the 52nd District, Member of Assembly for the 125th District.
Unopposed on the ballot are incumbents Sheriff Derek Osborne, Tompkins County Clerk Maureen Reynolds and New York State Assemblymember Anna Kelles for the 125th District.
Democrat Josh Riley and Republican Marcus Molinaro are vying for Congress, and in the New York State Senate, Democrat Lea Webb and Republican Rich are running against one another.
In New York’s Governor Race, Democrat Kathy Hochul is going against Republican Lee Zeldin. Their running mates are Democrat Antonio Delgado, and Republican Alison Esposito for the Office of the Lt. Governor.
Three candidates are running against one another for a one year term to serve as Mayor of Ithaca. The Democrat in the race is Ithaca’s Acting Mayor Laura Lewis going up against Republican Zach Winn and Independent Candidate Katie Sims.
