The Latino Civic Association of Tompkins County would like to enthusiastically invite the entire community to a festive celebration of Latinx Heritage Month on Saturday, October 15th from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Press Bay Court in downtown Ithaca!
Latinx Heritage Month is celebrated nationally September 15th – October 15th, and it is marked in Tompkins County with a number of events, including the currently ongoing Cine con Cultura Latinx American Film Festival. Join the LCA in celebrating the spectrum of Latinx creativity and diversity with over 20 Latinx craft artisans and performers, DJs, and Latinx food vendors serving empanadas, street tacos, and more. This outdoor family-friendly event will also feature tabling from local organizations, as well as the opportunity for open dancing! A full schedule of
performances is below, subject to change:

2:10 – 3:10—Dance Performance by Michael Ristorucci
3:20 – 3:50—Dance Performance by Luis Garcia
4:00 – 4:30—Music by Ana Florencia
4:40 – 5:00—Drag performance by Tony Flags & Feathers
5:10 – 6:00—Music by DJ LUIS

Following the Latinx Heritage Month Fiesta is the ​Noche Latina Dance Finale from 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. hosted by Salsa Ithaca at The Upstairs Bar & Venue on South Cayuga Street. Bring a friend for a night of open salsa dancing! All levels are encouraged to join.

The Latino Civic Association would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the Community Foundation of Tompkins County, the Greater Ithaca Activities Center (GIAC), Urban Core, and the Ithaca Fire Department for generously sponsoring this event.
