TOMPKINS COUNTY, N.Y.—The Trumansburg Farmers’ Market has announced a new weekly market opportunity at the Trumansburg Firehouse during the cold winter months.

Starting Feb. 7, according to an announcement from the farmers’ market, shoppers can come to the firehouse at 74 West Main St. in Trumansburg every Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. The market lasts until April 11.

The market’s normal operation is May to October, but an interest in providing vendors and customers more opportunities to connect fueled the establishment of the new winter option.

Vendors will include Wide Awake Bakry, Know Your Roots, Barry Family Cellars, Redbyrd Orchard Cider, Acorn Designs, Tastes of Wine Country, Wixom Farm, Six Circles Farm, Mountain Moor Farm, Salmon Pottery Gallery, Mush Love Greens, Shibui Bath, Sage Hen Farm and Fleece & Thank Ewe.

“As the market has grown, we realized there is an opportunity to keep the community and vendors connected year-round,” said Debbie Biltonen, TFM Board President, in a press release announcement.
