ITHACA, N.Y.—An Ithaca man has been arrested and charged in connection to an early February shooting that took place in Ithaca.
Thirty-one-year-old Robert Brewer was arrested April 2 after being observed driving on Elmira Road. He was taken into custody without incident.
The shooting, which took place on Feb. 4 at the Cayuga Garden Apartments, left one person with non-life-threatening injuries from a gunshot.
Brewer was charged with first-degree burglary, second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and second-degree assault. All of the charges are felonies. Brewer was arraigned in Ithaca City Court and remanded to the Tompkins Couty Jail on $100,000 cash or $100,000 bond.
