ITHACA, N.Y.—The City of Ithaca announced Tuesday that one of its main thoroughfares will be closed Wednesday for construction.
The 100 block of North Aurora Street in Ithaca will close for repair of a sewer lateral pipe. The work will begin at 7 a.m. and run until 3:30 p.m. Wednesday as currently scheduled.
The 100 block of North Aurora Street is commonly known as Restaurant Row, just off the Commons between State Street and Seneca Street. The block will be entirely closed for through traffic, though local and emergency access will be allowed.
Northbound traffic must turn onto East State Street and left onto Seneca Way to get back to Aurora Street.
