ITHACA, N.Y.—Intercity bus company FlixBus has announced the addition of routes to Toronto and Washington, D.C. from Ithaca.
Service to D.C. has already started, while the Toronto routes will begin on April 20, 2023. Tickets to D.C. are listed between $30 and $70, while a one-way ticket to Toronto is listed at $64.
The trips to Washington, D.C. include stops in Binghamton, Scranton, New York City, Newark, Delaware before arriving in D.C. Routes run three times per week, leaving Ithaca at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday and arriving in Washington, D.C. at 5:45 p.m. Trips from D.C. to Ithaca run on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays leaving at 1 p.m. and pulling into Ithaca at 10:25 p.m.
Ithaca’s route to Toronto will be in the middle of a route between New York City and Toronto which includes stops in Ithaca, Scanton, Binghamton, Buffalo, Niagara Falls (both sides of the border), Toronto Union Station and ending at Scarborough Bus Terminal in Toronto.
The Toronto service will run seven days per week. Trips will leave at 9:30 a.m. from New York City and get to the final destination in Toronto around 9:20 p.m.; Trips from Toronto will leave at 8:05 a.m. and get to New York City around 8:25 p.m.
