NAMI Finger Lakes announces first annual walk to support mental health awareness in Ithaca, NY, on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Cass Park, from 11 am – 3 pm EST.

“The NAMI walk is a great opportunity to raise awareness about mental health and show support for those who are affected by mental illness. As a community, we know how important it is to prioritize mental health and well-being for our students, staff, and families.”

NAMI Finger Lakes is an affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. NAMI FL provides free support, education, and advocacy for people closest to those living with mental health conditions. 

The one-mile walk or “unofficial” 5k run is open to individuals or teams who want to participate, there is no registration fee or fundraising requirement. To register please visit
