TOMPKINS COUNTY, N.Y.—Those interested in celebrating Memorial Day locally have plenty of options throughout the county on Monday, May 29.

In addition to the below, there is an opportunity to help clean-up the Ithaca City Cemetery. VFW Finger Lakes Post 963 Ceremony – 9 a.m. at South Hill Cemetery, Coddington Road in Ithaca.
American Legion Carrington-Fuller Post 800 Ceremony (starts off tour of 12 ceremonies around the Town of Groton, see link for more info) – 9 a.m.
Dryden Memorial Day Parade and Service with American Legion Post 1134 – 10:30 a.m. Parade Route on Main Street, Dryden Service on the Village Green in Dryden
VFW Finger Lakes Post 961 Ceremony – 11 a.m. at DeWitt Park in Ithaca
Ithaca American Legion Luncheon – 12 p.m. at Post 221, 1231 Danby Road in Ithaca
Finger Lakes Ceremony – 2 p.m. at N.Y. State Veterans Cemetery (formerly Sampson Veterans Memorial Cemetery) at 6632 State Rt. 96A in Romulus, N.Y.
Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War Ceremony – 2:15 p.m. at Danby Town Hall in Danby
