ITHACA, N.Y.—Ithacans filled the sidewalks of Cayuga Street and beyond Thursday night for the annual Ithaca Festival parade, marking the start of Ithaca’s most prominent summer gathering.

The Ithaca Voice’s Casey Martin was on the scene to provide you all the sights from the festivities, which lasted a bit over an hour and featured Clydesdales, candy, a mobile sauna, rollerskaters, a performance from The Comb Down on the Commons and the usual amount of controlled chaos.
