TOMPKINS COUNTY, N.Y.—Early voting has commenced in Tompkins County, allowing voters an opportunity to make their choices at the voting booth before Primary Day on June 27.
Unlike prior years, there is only one spot where early birds can go to vote—the Ithaca Town Hall at 215 North Tioga Street in Ithaca.
Polls are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, with the exception of Tuesday, June 20 and Thursday, June 22, when the hours are set from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. The final day for early voting is Sunday, June 25.
More information on early voting can be found here, from the Tompkins County Board of Elections.
Those voting in contested Democratic primaries in the City of Ithaca Common Council races can find additional coverage from The Ithaca Voice and local radio station WRFI on the races in Ward 1, Ward 2, Ward 3 and Ward 5.
