DRYDEN, N.Y.—One person from Rochester died in a crash on West Malloryville Road in Dryden, according to an announcement from the New York State Police.

Police said Kimberly Anthony, a 35-year-old from Rochester, was killed in the crash. Two other people, Cora-Su Brooks (38 years old) and Rochelle Landon (29 years old), were injured in the crash and taken to Upstate Medical University Hospital. Brooks, the driver of the vehicle, is from Groton, while Landon is from Ithaca.

The crash occurred around 9:45 a.m. Sunday morning. Police, fire and EMS personnel responded to the scene, where an investigation showed that “the vehicle was traveling northbound on Fall Creek Road when the vehicle exited the roadway and continued north.” The car then struck a tree in the front yard of a property on West Malloryville Road.

The Ithaca Voice is awaiting clarification on the condition of the two surviving victims. Police said the investigation into the crash is continuing.
