Until the end of the year, readers of The Ithaca Voice can have their contributions to our mission matched as we close out another potent year of local news in Tompkins County.

From now through Dec. 31, The Ithaca Voice is participating in NewsMatch, a program that matches individual, one-time donations of up to $1,000. The program matches both one-time and recurring donations, if you would like your contribution to make an impact year-round.

In 2023, we were able to grow our newsroom, deepen our coverage, and even upgrade our office space thanks to our supporters’ generosity. We have a full slate of new projects and stories to introduce in 2024 that will provide more news options and help our audience better understand the community we all share — the good and the bad, the beautiful and the ugly.

We’re proud of the work we have been able to produce during the past year, and we hope to continue delivering for our readers in the new year—during which we will be celebrating our 10-year anniversary!

Thanks in advance for your support and understanding of our frequent fundraising asks over the next few weeks—we can’t do this work, and keep information accessible to all, without people like you supporting us.

If you appreciate our coverage, consider donating to The Ithaca Voice today during our NewsMatch fundraising campaign. Reader support is vital to our mission, and any contribution is meaningful. Thank you.
