Mix Art Gallery Night: Robert Mirek “Points of Departure” Reception

Join us ‘Gallery Night’ Friday, November 3rd from 5-8 pm at MIX Art Gallery
MIX Art Gallery extends a warm invitation to explore Robert Mirek’s “Points of Departure” showcase on Friday, November 3rd, 2023. This exhibition offers a retrospective glimpse into his artistic journey, presenting a curated selection of 100 pieces created over the past 25 years. Based in Detroit, Mirek is an artist who has committed the past 45 years to his creative journey of crafting distinctive artwork. These series encompass a variety of materials, including aluminum, silicone rubber, acrylic paints, and more.
We will feature a six-member acoustic band from 6-8 pm, Taksim, adding a unique twist to the evening. The ensemble comprises of cellos, flutes, an oud, a doumbek, a frame drum, and a bass drum.
