Amy Armagost was arrested for first degree criminal contempt after kicking the window of an IPD patrol car.

Ithaca, N.Y. – The Ithaca Police Department has released a mugshot photo of Amy Armagost, who is accused of kicking the windows of an IPD patrol car during a response call early Friday morning.

At 12:13 a.m, police were called to a physical domestic dispute at the Hotel Ithaca, on 222 South Cayuga Street.

Armagost was arrested after the incident and charged with first-degree criminal contempt and fourth-degree attempted criminal mischief, according to a press release.

Responding officers intervened in the altercation and determined that Amy Armagost had violated the terms of an Order of Protection.  Armagost was secured in police custody and was charged with Criminal Contempt in the First Degree, a class E Felony.  Armagost attempted to damage the windows of an Ithaca Police Department patrol vehicle by repeatedly kicking them.  Armagost was charged with Attempted Criminal Mischief in the 4th Degree, a Class B Misdemeanor.
