ITHACA, N.Y. — Cornell University’s Slope Day Celebrations are scheduled at Libe Slope on West Avenue both Wed., May 9, and Thurs., May 10.
On both days, West Ave., between Campus Rd. and University Ave., will be closed all day (re-opening Fri. a.m., May 11.) On Thurs., May 10, Campus Rd., between Stewart Ave. and College Ave., will be closed from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Wednesday, May 9, Routes 36, 83, 92 and 93 will be detoured as follows.
Route 36: A.M. trips will turn right onto Stewart Ave.; left onto Campus Rd., back onto normal route. P.M trips will travel to Lake St. using Campus Rd. to Stewart Ave. The Baker Flagpole stop is to be relocated to Stewart @ University.
Route 83: will detour from Stewart Ave.; right onto to University Ave.; right onto East Ave.; then left onto Tower Rd. stopping at Milstein Hall, Goldwin Smith Hall and Uris Hall, resuming onto normal route. The Baker Flagpole stop is to be relocated to Stewart @ University. Alternatively, passengers traveling from West Campus to Central Campus can also use Route 10, boarding on University Ave. at the Boldt Hall bus stop.
Routes 92 and 93: will detour using Campus Rd. and Stewart Ave. in both directions. The Baker Flagpole stop is to be relocated to Stewart @ University.
Thursday May 10, Routes 20, 21, 31, 37, 40, 43, 52, 53, 65, and 67 will be detoured from Stewart Avenue to College Avenue from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Bus stops on Stewart @ Seneca St., Stewart @ Buffalo St. and Stewart Ave. at Williams St. are to be relocated to E. State St. @ Stewart Ave.
