ITHACA, N.Y. — A TCAT bus and car collided at intersection Green and Albany streets Wednesday morning.
Bangs Ambulance responded and transported one person to Cayuga Medical Center. The vehicle involved in the crash sustained serious damage including a broken windshield and crushed front-end.
The crash occurred at about 9:15 a.m. at the intersection when the bus that was turning onto Green Street collided with the vehicle, according to TCAT. The intersection has been cleared and traffic has resumed as of 10 a.m.
The Ithaca Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash.
In a statement, TCAT said it is also doing its own internal investigation.
