ITHACA, N.Y. — Ithaca Police Department is investigating a robbery after responding to reports of a dispute at the intersection of South Titus and South Cayuga Streets on Thursday evening.

At approximately 7:24 p.m., IPD was dispatched to the area and located a victim who told officers he was parked in his vehicle when two unknown males entered. The males both displayed knives and menaced the victim while demanding money from him, according to a release from IPD.

The victim told police that he struggled with the suspects before they both eventually fled the area on foot. The victim sustained minor injuries.

The investigation is ongoing and several vehicles were reported in the area at the time that may have witnessed the altercation.
