ITHACA, N.Y. — Last week, The Ithaca Voice solicited pictures from local photographers to provide a view of Tompkins County as they saw it this year, the type of work that wouldn’t usually appear in our articles.
The response has been massive. Dozens of people have submitted their pictures from life around Ithaca and Tompkins County in 2023, from landscapes to performances to life downtown to local wildlife.
Here are submissions from the first 20 photographers, roughly in the order in which they were submitted. A second article is available here with galleries for the remaining pictures submitted to avoid overwhelming our website with the images.
