ITHACA, N.Y. — On September 10, 2016 the Allegiance Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club presented the Ithaca Police Department with a check for $3,000 to go towards the IPD K9 Team.

The check was presented by Chapter President Gary Allen to IPD Chief of Police John Barber at the IPD Firearms Range. The funds were raised during the annual Corporal Chris Bordoni Memorial Ride. This is the third donation from the Allegiance Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club (sic Protectors MC) to the Ithaca Police Department.

The three donations total $7,500 and have all been graciously donated to enhance the IPD K9 Team.

Chief of Police John R. Barber expressed his heartfelt appreciation when advised of the donation, stating “This is really just so awesome. It’s awesome that they do this for our department and for our K9 Team in particular. They do it all out of the kindness of their hearts. Please join me in thanking the men and women of the Allegiance Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club for their generosity.”
